Brittany Elena Morris aspires to, at the same time, live in a perpetual dance party, drink exceptional coffee and read a good book atop a mountain in Southeast Asia.
She is a junior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her imminent BA/MMA degree has a focus in print journalism, videography and digital media. She is also in the process of completing coursework for a minor in Arabic and a certificate in Islamic Studies. Currently she is a a fellow at Arizona State University's the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict, studying the global affects of Islam. She is taking courses in magazine writing, documentary and Arabic.
On a more leisurely note, Brittany is a literary fiend (and worked at Barnes and Noble for 3+ years), book collector, and coffee/tea addict. In her free time, Brittany enjoys attending concerts, thrift shops and local bookstores. She takes advantage of the mountainous Arizona region and enjoys rock climbing and hiking.
